🎭 CAN YOU HELP HIGHVELD THEATRE COMPANY? 🎭

We're looking for a permanent rehearsal venue in the Trichardt/Secunda area.

As we build Highveld Theatre Company, we've already secured venues for auditions and set construction. The one thing we still need is a space where our actors can rehearse, create and grow together.

We're looking for a venue that is:

✅ Available during weekdays
✅ Affordable or, ideally, free for long-term use
✅ Safe and secure
✅ Large enough for movement rehearsals
✅ Able to accommodate a few props and costumes

The response has been absolutely incredible, and we are excited by the amount of talent we have discovered across Mpumalanga and beyond. 🌟

We are especially excited to announce that TIGERKING – 30-Minute Draft / Audition Script 1.1 will serve as the official audition script for our upcoming production.

Following the audition process, the script will be further developed into a full 90-Minute Fantasy Adventure Play, featuring expanded characters, richer mythology, larger-scale storytelling, and exciting new theatrical possibilities.

This is your opportunity to become part of the journey from the very beginning and help bring an original South African fantasy adventure to life. 🐅👑🎭

Important Audition Information

❌ You do NOT need to prepare a monologue.

🎭 We will be using scenes and characters from the TIGERKING – 30-Minute Draft / Audition Script 1.1 during the audition process.

🎭 Auditions will be run as a workshop where participants will:

- Read scenes from the script
- Interact with other actors
- Explore different characters and roles
- Receive direction and feedback

We are looking for:

✅ A willingness to learn

Previous acting experience is welcome, but not required.
