THEEWATERSKLOOF MUNICIPALITY - ⚠️ MAJOR ROAD CLOSURES

Motorists are advised that all major routes leading to Cape Towna and Caledon are closed to traffic.

Sir Lowry's Pass closed.

Botriver bridge is closed and will probably be closed for the duration of the day, due to damages to the roadway.

The R43 direction Villiersdorp is closed to traffic. SANRAL was instructed to put up boards.

The R321 and the R32Hemel and Aarde is also closed to traffic.

The road between Stanford and Hermanus remains closed to traffic.

The R44 Clarence drive has been closed. closed and there is currently no Detour to Cape Town as the R45, Franchoek Pass, has also been closed in both directions.

We will keep motorists updated as information is received.
