The farm studio is open on Sundays from 3-5pm when the weather is no good for outdoor drumming. Indoor weather only. This is a casual improvised group drumming session. Plenty of drums available. Will be announced a few days prior.

Yay finally started on the 500L wine barrel. 86cm wide shell width at the heads which I am very, happy about. Expecting a fundamental note of around 50Htz to 60Htz. Its going to be good. Lots of upgrades to construction of the shell and rings in the pipeline. Lighter and stronger.

I feel like I am on holiday.... Playing along with USA drum circle videos and I am really enjoying it! I have to admit I love the mix of latin, afro cuban. USA has such a wonderful mix of world percussion.

Its been a relaxing few weeks. I enjoy these short late afternoon solo sessions. Always a good thing. This rhythm if it is a documented rhythm I don't know its name. Usually I just slow down, relax and play what comes. To be honest though this does sounds like something I would expect at the Santa Barbra Drum Circle in the early 90's.
