Release Date: No official confirmation, but expected to start between January 20-27, 2026, following 3-month seasons.

January 27: Season 2 Content Drop 1.
February 17: Season 2 Content Drop 2.
March 10: Season 2 Content Drop 3.
roughly every 3 weeks like Season 1.

Season 1 Recap: Introduced 2 maps, 2 game modes (Strikepoint, Sabotage), and 5 weapons across 3 drops.
Expected Content: Unconfirmed, but likely includes new maps, weapons, modes, gadgets, and vehicles. Game files contain 11 modes total (9 unreleased). Leaker Temporyal highlighted MG5 weapon and AH-6 Little Bird helicopter as potential Season 2 additions.

Starting right now, as of January 2026, the big change to PlayStation Network and PS Plus is that they're shifting hard to PS5. From this month on, the monthly free games for PS Plus Essential and the Game Catalogue will mostly be PS5 titles only—PS4 games won't be added regularly anymore, just occasionally if at all. Sony's basically saying most players are on PS5 now, so they're focusing there to push people forward. If you're still on PS4, you'll still play what you have, but new perks are drying up fast. Later in spring 2026, new PS4 games won't get some old PSN features like certain trophies, communities, or activity feeds—but existing games stay fine. No full PSN shutdown yet, just the slow phase-out of last-gen stuff.
