I created this peace as a way of expressing my emotional state during a phase in my life when I had started realising that I was losing peaces of myself and the last piece of the old me was only hanging on by a thread.
The meaning behind the title lies in my struggle to let go of the parts of me that I needed to let go of, and the purpose of letting go: Growing into my new being and knowing that in as much as the old me is gone, a part of him still resides within me. Reminding me not only of the person I once was, but also the person he helped create. To always be kind and nurturing to this new person.
