💣💛𝐓𝐞𝐤𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞: "Not everybody is going to be a superstar. Just because you are being profiled, it does not mean you’ve made it. How many stars gone to big teams with high profiles and never did anything, and left without money,”

🎙“Stop comparing money, stop comparing cars. I want footballers to start competing on the pitch, those four lines and stop competing about cars and girls. In our era, we used to compete about that nonsense and I don’t want the new players to do the same thing. Compete about who is better than ‘Mshisi’ (Themba Zwane), and then go show each other on the pitch."

🎙“That’s what is important, and that’s why the fans come into the stadium. There are certain players who are gifted in a way that an individual from Soweto would buy a ticket to go watch him. Relebohile Mofokeng was that player at Pirates, Steve Lekoelea and Jabu Mahlangu were those players in the past.

“The chances are that there was someone who was earning more money that Jabu Mahlangu, even though he was the one who made people buy tickets. But he cannot be mad about that because he has been given a gift that he must appreciate, he has been given longevity because he is still doing something in football.”
