IAmMe Stands Against Gender-Based Violence. 🖤🕯️
We stand with every woman and child whose life has been brutally taken through Gender-Based Violence in South Africa. We stand with the families left behind, the communities carrying unimaginable pain, and every survivor whose voice deserves to be heard.
Enough is enough.
No woman should lose her life because of violence. No family should have to bury a daughter, sister, mother, partner, or friend because someone chose to harm them.
IAmMe strongly condemns GBV in all its forms. We demand justice, accountability, stronger protection for women, and a justice system that takes these crimes seriously.
NO TO GBV. NO TO FEMICIDE. NO MORE SILENCE.
We also support the call for a national conversation around bringing back the death penalty for the most heinous and brutal crimes, as communities continue to demand justice and meaningful consequences for perpetrators.
Our women deserve to live. Our women deserve safety. Our women deserve justice.
We stand with women. We stand against GBV. We stand for a South Africa where everyone can live without fear.
