After working closely with numerous recording artists and building strong relationships with many creatives in the entertainment industry, I’ve started to notice clear patterns, and this is the conclusion I’ve come to.

We may operate in the same industry, but our standards and definition of quality will always lead us down different paths.

What looks like a great deal to one person can feel like a compromise to another. Some opportunities shine in the short term but carry little weight in the long run, those who think beyond the moment will often walk away, even when others see it as wasted opportunity.

Not everyone measures value the same way. Some people spend their energy freely; others guard it with intention. Some stay constantly busy yet produce little of substance, while others move with focus, less noise, but far greater impact.

In the end, it’s not just about being in the same space, it’s about how you choose to move within it.

The Rose of The Church soon releases her new single featuring Mampai Ndlovu, Phenyo maps the journey from spiritual ambush to triumphant faith. The track doesn't just describe the fight—it walks listeners through the trap, the attack, and the breakthrough.

Written from personal experience, Phenyo confronts the reality of spiritual battles: the hidden traps, the repetitive accusations, the moments when surrender feels easier than standing. But the song refuses to linger in the struggle. At its center is a declaration: victory belongs to Jesus, and because He has won, so do we.

The singing sections carry the weight of lament and resolve, while the spoken word passages act like a prophetic charge—direct, confrontational, and rooted in Scripture. Together, they create a testimony more than a performance. It’s a bio for the battlefield: honest about the fight, certain about the outcome.
