✨ New Work ✨
As part of my latest collection, I’ve been exploring the quiet poetry of South Africa’s rural landscapes—spaces where time feels suspended, and the land holds stories both ancient and urgent. This series documents the vastness of the Karoo and other remote areas, places often overlooked yet rich with history and silent resilience.
These open spaces, with their subtle scars and raw beauty, speak to the complexities of our socio-political landscape. They reveal both abandonment and hope, where untouched land and unspoilt horizons stand as witnesses to our shared past and uncertain future.
This painting captures a moment of stillness at sunset—when the land breathes and the sky ignites—a metaphor for endurance and quiet transformation.
🌾 Documenting the unspoken. Honouring the land.
