Klipinnibos Nature Farm

Klipinnibos is a down to earth, easy going, self-catering stone cottage. Heirloom and handmade furniture gives the basic comfort you will need. But the main course of the Klipinnibos Experience is the green forest setting, the fireside "kuier stoep", the birdsong, the bubbling spring, the benches in the forest where you can quietly sit with a coffee and contemplate the wonders of the natural world

, as well as a more strenuous hike up the mountain, through pockets of forest and ecosystem restoration areas to a beautiful grassland with fantastic views of the Schoemanskloof valley far below. Accessed by an 18 km gravel road up a mountain, the road quality varies during the year, so a hatchback or SUV with higher clearance is advised. We have chickens, so be ready to hear their enthusiastic farmy racket in the mornings. A very friendly young farm dog will possibly come and say hello to you. We have bush babies that will announce their presence at night with their otherworldly call. We have big trees that sway in the wind, occasionally dropping a branch on the roof. We are totally off-grid with solar power and have the fridge on a timer to save the battery power and keep the lights on. We love to recycle and ask guests to support our effort.
