*ZURI AFRICA, AFRICA GRAND CORONATION AND EXPO 2023*
_05 August 2023 @ Heartfelt Arena,Pretoria_ Zuri Africa Global Expo and its official partners and sponsors – Samsy Tech, B3 Company, Acalytica, Reminisce and Bathu are proud to announce that Zuri Africa Grand Coronation and Expo event officially took place at Heartfeld Arena, Pretoria, South Africa. We had national contestants from different African countries who arrived in South Africa on the 31st of July for a boot camp. The project was faced with many hurdles since last year but we finally managed to pull through. The event was attended by a few Government officials from Cameroon and it also happened that Camerron scooped the first position of the African Queen, followed by Lesotho which was crowned Zuri Africa Ambassador and finally Zimbabwe, which was crowned Zuri Africa Cultural Ambassador. The title of Tribes of Africa Princess was awarded to the Zulu tribe and finally, the Queens of Africa Leadership title went to Malawi. We are happy and excited that we managed to demonstrate what Zuri Africa Coronation and Grand Expo are all about. We are a platform showcasing Africa's diverse culture expressed in clothing, food, narratives, dance, music etc. we are not a pageant but we allow national events to demonstrate via a pageant platform to select and crown a cultural ambassador who will represent the flag at the Africa Grand Coronation event. We are different and we attract and drive traffic to Africa as a lead tourist continent. The expo prides itself in having a footprint in over thirty-two African countries and strategic partners in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Australia and this move will witness us launching the Zuri Africa Global platform soon. Zuri Africa strongly believes in different people, from different countries and cultures establishing relationships and working together for a greater cause. The movement also aims at becoming official partners with African Governments that are seeking development and growth for their countries. This honourable expo event was founded at Africa Heritage Society House, on the 15th of April 2014 in Johannesburg, South Africa -by Mr Ryan Nush the Founding President and CEO, who is well-known as a cultural leader and diplomat for Africa's noble initiatives. The role of Zuri Africa Queen is to influence and foster investments, developments and growth within Africa by using negotiations and speaking on platforms that have Africa as a key agenda. The 2023 activities were themed on Investment, Growth and Development in South Africa amongst the contestants and especially the participating partners. These activities are the production material that will be broadcasted locally and internationally on platforms including YouTube, podcasts and other social media platforms. Zuri Africa hopes to continue contributing towards the growth and development of Africa's greatest future. The events and platforms have proven to be very effective and they can be used to draw the attention of the World to Africa. Zuri Africa stands firm in promoting Africanism and believes Africa is the future. This event hoped to find and place women in different sectors of the country for them to bring about change in these sectors that are lacking solutions to everyday issues. The young women that took part are not only contestants but are future leaders, presidents, ambassadors, entrepreneurs, directors, governors, mentors, chairwomen and so much more.
As witnessed, presentations carried by country contestants were mind-blowing, exciting and intriguing. Running on an expo and showcase platform, each contestant was given 2-3mins to make a presentation for her country. Contestants were allowed to run presentations in their official native language with an interpreter for English dialogue.
