Trophies went out at 2.0 on Wednesday night and one team kept walking back up to collect them.
Natural Born Killers won the league. Then the knockout. Then they went and won the Interclub too. Elite Eight were in two of those finals and lost both, which is a brutal way to have a very good season.

Worth repeating, because it trips people up every year. This is not the leaderboard prize. That is Number 1 Seed. This one weighs your league form, where your team finished, and what you did on the two championship nights.
Iqram Sahib had a case. 98 points, 98 wins, and he was doing that inside a side that won both team titles. Riaquat Ree Mohamed had one too. 97 points, the same double, and a deep run in the Singles on top of it.
Christiaan Janse van Rensburg had a bigger one. Top of the individual board on 104. Nine breaks and finishes. Sixty frames won on his own break. Elite Eight do not get to a runners-up finish and a knockout final without him doing that week after week. Then he and Steyn Pienaar went and took the Scotch Doubles title.
