Colleen Murphy Ballet & Movement

Certified RAD Ballet Teacher 3.5years to adult - graded ballet, ballet fitness and PBTS Colleen grew up dancing at the Johannesburg School of the Arts.

After a short hiatus and furthering her academic career within the skin health industry, she returned to the stage and in 2015 completed her Royal Academy of Dance teachers Certification. Colleen currently teachers at three pre-primary schools. She currently runs two adult ballet classes, an adult ballet fitness course as well as private adult tuition.

2017 will see Colleen launch her Progressive Ballet Technique classes and extending her pre-primary ballet curriculum and adult classes.

Mat exercises are the foundation of Pilates and is based on the original exercises that Joseph Pilates developed to strengthen his own body.
Mat helps strengthen and lengthen and focuses on core while training arms and legs.
