Kate Valasis Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — I started drawing at three years old, inspired by my mom’s many talents and creativity.

Over the years, art has become both my passion and my grounding, a way of noticing the quiet beauty in what’s often overlooked. Through Simply Wabi Sabi, I explore the philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection, in the fleeting, and in the raw. My work spans fineliner drawings, watercolor, flow art, crochet, and digital illustration. Whether it’s intricate fine-line florals, whimsical animals, or the unexpected poetry of skeletons and skulls, my art reflects a balance of softness and edge, fantasy and reality. Each piece is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and discover that imperfect can still be beautiful. 🌸💀✨
