🎭 And the Answer Is… Grand Jeté! 🎭

✨ Grand Jeté ✨

The term Grand Jeté comes from French:
🔹 Grand = “big” or “great”
🔹 Jeté = “thrown”

Together, Grand Jeté means “big thrown leap.”

This spectacular movement creates the illusion of a dancer soaring through the air, with both legs extended in opposite directions. It requires strength, flexibility, power, and grace, making it one of the most iconic and breathtaking leaps in dance.

🩰 Where is it used?
The Grand Jeté is most commonly seen in Ballet, but it is also frequently used in Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Acro, and Musical Theatre choreography to create moments of elevation, freedom, and dramatic expression.

While many were enjoying a well-deserved Sunday rest, our beautiful Spanish dancers were hard at work, proudly taking part in their examinations.

We would like to congratulate each and every dancer on your dedication, commitment, and effort. The countless hours of practice, perseverance, and passion you have shown have led to this special achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of you all.

No matter the result, stepping into an exam takes courage, confidence, and determination. You represented Dance Solutions with grace and pride, and for that, we celebrate each and every one of you.

Congratulations, dancers! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see what you achieve next. ❤️💃🌹
