Hi, I’m Louise-Rose Baard
I started dancing at the grand old age of 4… and never really stopped. In fact, I spent most of my nursery school break times “teaching” my friends how to skip and gallop in our very official (and highly imaginary) studio 😄
Over the years, dance has become so much more than just technique — although that will always be our foundation. My approach to teaching and running the studio is a holistic one. I work with people — little humans and grown ones — all with their own journeys, personalities, and challenges.
It’s a constant balancing act between this being my profession and, for many, a passion or pastime. Not every pupil will become a professional dancer (and that’s okay!), but I do hope they all leave with a love for the arts and an appreciation for what dance brings to their lives.
For me, the studio is more than just a place to learn steps — it’s a safe space. A place to test boundaries, build confidence, discover new strengths (both physical and emotional), and develop those all-important life and social skills.
I feel incredibly fortunate to do what I love every day, and so grateful to everyone who has supported my business and allowed me to live out my passion — both inside and outside the studio ❤️
