OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF APOLOGY FROM THE MHLATHUZE SUNSET FESTIVAL PLANNING COMMITTEE
The Mhlathuze Sunset Festival Planning Committee would like to extend its sincere apologies to all artists, service providers, and stakeholders who have not yet received payment following the Mhlathuze Sunset Festival event held on 31 December 2025.
We acknowledge the frustration and inconvenience this delay has caused, particularly to the artists and service providers who contributed their time, talent, and resources to making the event a success. The committee deeply regrets that payments have not been processed within the expected timeframe.
Unfortunately, the event experienced several unforeseen financial challenges
At present, the committee is actively engaging with The Main Sponsor to explore possible avenues of assistance to address the outstanding payments. These discussions are ongoing, and we remain hopeful that a solution will be reached to assist in resolving this matter
We wish to assure all affected stakeholders that the committee is committed to finding the best possible alternative to settle all outstanding payments. Your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation during this difficult period are sincerely appreciated.
Once again, we offer our deepest apologies for the delay and thank you for your understanding as we work diligently to resolve this situation.
