After prizegiving, we opened the mic and the karaoke started rolling - from golden oldies to latest hits, English, Afrikaans, Zulu. Everyone joined in. And the dance floor was open!!

What an incredibly special evening! 💜🎤

Last Saturday I had the absolute privilege of being the DJ for Maya's 16th Birthday Celebration, and what a blessing it was!

Maya is such a beautiful young lady that loves Jesus so much, and that truly shone through in the heartfelt birthday messages and tributes shared by her family and friends. Every word spoken reflected just how deeply loved and appreciated she is and the special part that she plays in everyones lives.

We enjoyed an amazing night of karaoke, filled with laughter, singing and dancing. It was especially meaningful to include some of Maya's favourite praise & worship songs, along with gospel music and plenty of familiar favourites that had everyone joining in.

Watching everyone sing together, celebrate, and simply enjoy the moment filled my heart with so much joy. It was honestly one of my favourite DJ experiences in a very long time. 💜

A huge thank you to Maya, and to her wonderful mom, Amelia Bekker, for trusting us to be part of such a memorable celebration. It was an honour!
