I have always held a deep love and respect for art. For the way it allows us to create something from nothing, and in doing so, gives us a place to escape. Art has always felt like a quiet sanctuary to me.
For as long as I can remember, I have longed to be a painter. Although it is a talent I never fully developed, the desire to create has never left me. Over time, I realized that creativity does not have to be limited to a canvas and brush, it can live and breathe virtually too.
And that discovery reignited something inside me.
I have always been drawn to the powerful beauty of all pit bull–type dogs, especially when captured with soft florals. There is something incredibly moving about pairing strength with delicacy — a gentle, almost poetic way of revealing the true heart of what many call a “power breed.” Behind the muscle and misunderstood reputation lies loyalty, affection, and the purest kind of love. Pit bull is simply an umbrella term for a broad variety of breeds.
So I decided to design these beautiful portraits of our fur babies — our American Bullies. Tovah, Kai and Inka.
Anyone who knows us knows that our animals are not “just pets.” They are our children. From our cats to our dogs and every little soul in between, they are family in every sense of the word. 🐱🩷🐶
Seeing these designs come to life on canvas was nothing short of emotional. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team, especially Rudi, at Louise Rame Kimberley for printing our canvases. WOW. 🤩
The quality is simply unmatched. The ink melts into the canvas so beautifully that it truly looks hand-painted — rich, vibrant, alive. I stood in absolute awe when I saw them. Photographs genuinely do not do them justice.
My passion for art runs deep, but so does my passion for the breeds that fall under the pit bull umbrella. They deserve to be seen for their gentleness, their devotion, and their beauty.
And one day, I still hope to stand in front of a blank canvas with paint on my hands and create something just as meaningful myself.
The dream to paint has never faded — it has simply taken on a new form for now ✨
