S G Plastic is currently installing the first of 2 Emergency Chlorine Scrubbers at waste water treatment facilities in KZN using 17 tonne tankers. The scrubber is designed to “scrub” a catastrophic leak from the tanker rooms to below 3 ppm in one pass. It is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere to date.
The scrubber employs the latest scrubbing technology from the USA and components from suppliers in Europe. The scrubber is totally manufactured by S G Plastic as a turnkey plant in South Africa.
We are proud to be an integral part of these projects and look forward to future projects with other partners in this industry

After a successful installation of an evaporator plant with a 70 meter exhaust stack, S G Plastic has been commissioned to remove leaking HF and Nitric acid drain lines and install new ones.
