There is something uniquely captivating about a South African sunset, the changing light, the rich colours across the landscape, and the sense of peace that settles over the bushveld as the day draws to a close.

This oil-on-canvas painting captures a sunset in the Waterberg region of South Africa, using layered colour, light and texture to create depth and atmosphere. From the warm glow of the setting sun to the subtle tones across the landscape, the painting celebrates the natural beauty and tranquillity of the Waterberg.

At Splat ’n That Studio, we believe that art is about more than simply creating a finished painting. It is about learning, experimenting, developing your skills and discovering your own creative expression in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Our adult and pensioner art classes takes place every Thursday evening from 18H00PM - 21H00PM.

Explore painting techniques, colour mixing, composition, perspective, texture and different artistic mediums, while working at your own pace with guidance and support.
