Held at exciting venues around the province, fun for all age groups, and home to some of the country’s best rides, we are more than just a fun fair – we are a playground for good spirited fun and enjoyment, leaving our patrons with absolutely memorable experiences. We aim to ensure that each time you experience the fair it is a memorable, by proving a service that is fun and suitable for the entir
e family to enjoy together. First Generation
Tommy Chetty founded Tommy’s World Fair in the early 1940s. He began simply with a single act called the Wall of Death, which earned him a spot in the Durban Museum. Making history, and leaving a legacy behind, he will forever be remembered, and his legacy will live on through his son Joey Chetty. Second Generation
Joey Chetty witnessed his father turn just one act into a truly successful family business. He and his brothers were all part of the fun fair and each had a key role to play in the running of the business. Third Generation
Sandy Chetty, along with his brother Duran Chetty assisted their father to run the fun fair. With their help, Tommy’s World Fair has developed and grown to become even more renowned. The family-oriented business has strengthened and become even more successful due to the fact that it offers an experiential service that is suitable for the entire family to enjoy. Our Company
