Mashiach is the Hebrew word from which we get the word Messiah.

It comes from the Hebrew root:
מָשַׁח — Mashach

Meaning:
• to anoint with oil
• to consecrate
• to dedicate for holy purpose
• to appoint by God
• to set apart

The anointing is not about becoming famous or powerful —
it is about:
• carrying His presence
• being healed
• walking in intimacy with Him
• becoming set apart for His love and purposes
