Mams Arts Fest www.lamathonsi.co.za M**s Arts Festival is a cluster of arts, culture and heritage festivities concept with difference.

This annual festival since 2007 has been designed and conceptualised to be a cost effective cultural and creative industries initiative that continues to alter careers and lives from budding to inter-mediate and advanced artists. The emphasis is on capacity building (workshops), skills transfer and development (master-classes) that is providing that much needed quality-learning conducive environme

nt for aspiring and emerging (beginners and intermediate) artists from all genres of their choice, capabilities and talents and encompassing socio-cultural development with particular attention to economic benefit thus eradicate poverty, despondency and reduction of unemployment. On another level the initiative offers networking opportunities (exhibition centre) and draws together tourists, local people, business, youth, community organizations, media and visitors from all over Gauteng Province on an annual basis to celebrate and experience the ‘kasi’ vibrancy and lifestyle with the richness, diversity and dynamism of multi-layered markets.
