What makes an artwork truly speak to you? 💭🎨
For me, creating art isn’t just about producing visual pieces - it’s about crafting stories that reflect our shared human experiences.
Here’s a peek behind the curtain of my creative process:
📚 Every Series Has a Story: Each collection begins with a narrative, exploring vulnerabilities, resilience, and the subtle games we play in daily life.
👩🎨 The Beauty of "Slow Art": In a world that demands instant results, I choose to embrace time-intensive craft. Whether it’s hand-carved linocuts, intricate paper cuts, or multi-step bronze casting, every layer requires patience and deliberate intention.
🎨 Versatility in Mediums: I move freely between sculpture, oil, ink, paper, and handwork, whatever best captures the soul of the story. From sculpted bronze and rich oils to delicate ink, embroidery, and paper works, the narrative always dictates the medium.
Art should be a mirror - a quiet moment where you look at a piece and think, "I've felt that before."
Which medium or story of mine has resonated most with you?
