At just 16 years old at the time, Lukas launched this platform to support independent and emerging artists, actors, performers, motivational speakers, songwriters, and filmmakers in South Africa. The company is dedicated to fostering a diverse range of talents, providing a safe space for them to develop their skills and careers through social media marketing and public relations. Lukas has collabo

rated with notable artists and creators such as Rea le Roux, Gemmerman, Zondagkraal, Jay Morgan, Leon Barnardt, and Tizel. He has also written and produced two of his own short films, "Die Dans Kort Film" (2021) and "Spieelbeeld Kort Film" (2022), and co-wrote a short film in 2019. His latest project, "The Last Night Of Lockdown Short Film," was released in 2023. In May 2021, Lukas launched his talk show, "Sitkamer Sessies," featuring prominent figures in the independent industry, including actress Lare Birk, actress Helene Truter, actor Liaan Ferreira, actor and comedian Hannes Brummer, artist Julanie J, and drag queen Betty Bangles. Lukas is also actively involved in various industry projects, such as the Afri-Indie Awards (2021 - present), the largest independent music awards in South Africa. Under his guidance, artists he has worked with have achieved a combined total of 70,000 streams within just seven months. With a passion for storytelling, music, and filmmaking, Lukas Potgieter continues to innovate and create new opportunities for artists through LCP PRODUCTIONS.
