It started with a thought... birthed out of the need to unite urban music party revelers in South Africa five years after the country's first democratic elections and obilishment of an opressive racist regime 1999 Multi-Racial Productions was established, at the time focused at providing events mainly without the prejudice segregation brought on by the past. Out of it ethos (Uniting Through The Rhythm) a record label was eventually established in 2003 with a multitude of releases by giving platforms to then up n coming various and now influential producers in the South African House music scene, in keeping with its ethos and principles of building platforms for up n coming budding producers the label keeps on with taking its vision globally, Multi-Racial established it's Urban Music Institute in order to facilitate in providing knowledge through our Tutor-Mentor programs in the Urban Music Industry persevering in "UNITIN THRU THE RHYTHM" into the future.
