We have everything you need to CREATE a fully PRODUCED song/album or help finish that NUMBER 1 single SHINE. Son Studios hosts 2 x State of the Art Professional Music Production studios. Studio A - In the heart of the East overlooking the beautiful Menlyn Maine from the Waterkloof Heights ideal for all recording purposes. Studio B - down the road from The Village in (a cultural hub spot in the Eas

Studio Rates and Services

Walk-in/Demo Recording
Engineer cost: R300.00 per hour (incl. VAT)
Studio Rate/Hour for recording: R700.00. Mixing R1500.00
Mastering : R1500.00

Production, Mixing and Mastering

World Class Professional Standard :

R 5000.00 per song
Maximum 16 hours studio time
3 reasonable minor changes before final master
Major changes - R700.00 per hour
Pre and Post production
World Class Mixing and Mastering

*Songwriting Royalties are split with Producer and Songwriter as per songwriting agreement/contract

Professional Standard plus Live instruments
Extra R1000.00 - tbc* for Session Musos
Extra R8000.00 - tbc* for live Choir

Professional Standard plus original songwriter by Son Studios Songwriter - R500.00 per hour + songwriting split according to parts written by songwriter

Session 1 09:00 am - 11:00 pm
Session 2 11:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Session 3 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Session 4 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Session 5 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Session 7 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm *after hours rates applicable
Session 8 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
