This week we gave our children a “bag of tricks” with strategies on how to deal with peer pressure.

Wrong is wrong, even when everyone is doing it. Right is right, even if no one is doing it.

Be brave enough to stay true to yourself.

Lesson of the week: ~ Feeling Jealous ~

We taught the children to identify feelings of jealousy and we discussed what to do if the little green monster visits you or your friends.

Lesson: My Attitude

It is not always easy to see the positive things in life, especially for children, but having a positive attitude and outlook on life makes solving life's problems much easier.

Showing our children how to turn a negative attitude around helps to teach them some important coping skills they'll need in life.

Lesson: Self- confidence ~ Being able to talk to other people.

We discussed techniques to use when feeling shy and we encouraged positive thinking.

Self-confidence is a super power. Once you start to believe in yourself, magic starts happening.
