Dharma Samsthapana (Establishment of Dharma)

^Having subdued even the Lokapalas (guardians of the world) -
He established one rule over all the worlds."

Ravana's atrocities made life miserable for all the people in the world. He subdued the kings, performed rituals, ate the sages and yogis who lived in the forests, and abducted the wives of others. It was when Dharma was hidden and morality was destroyed that the sages and gods together requested Lord Mahavishnu to incarnate as a human being to save the world. It is noteworthy that Srimahavishnu incarnated as Srirama Chandra and re-established Dharma, morality, practices and rituals in the world.

"The Lord said that he would relieve the pain caused by the excessive burden on Medinidevi (Mother Earth)."

Essence:
The survival of material life depends on a way of life based on the principles of Dharma, and the Ramavataram signifies that human beings should live as righteous people like Srirama Chandra for that.

Ramalakshmanas, inseparable since childhood, were among the sons of Dasaratha. Rama was strong, and Lakshmana was careful. During their childhood, Vishwamitra Maharshi visited Dasaratha Maharaja with the aim of killing the demons Mareecha and Subahu. Dasaratha Maharaja was worried about the Maharshi's request, both because his children had never been separated and due to his love for his sons and doubts about their abilities. However, Vishwamitra reminded him that Rama and Lakshmana were suitable and destined for the good of the world, persuading Dasaratha to send his sons with the Maharshi. The princes returned to the kingdom with increased enthusiasm and a greater awareness of duty after killing Tadaka, Mareecha, and Subahu—mighty Rakshasa heroes who embodied the evils of society.

Essence:

Children's learning and growth should foster social commitment. The strength, ability, skill in action, great enthusiasm, and sense of purpose found in youth should be utilized for the good of society, rather than for selfish ends. In this story, Dasaratha's selfless love for his sons was set aside when social protection was needed. Our guiding principle should be that the nation comes first, and the individual second.

The purpose of Balagokulam is to enable and motivate our children to understand, practice and propagate Hindu way of living. As parents, we all strive to transfer the samskaras to our next generation so that they become confident Hindus.

In this effort, Balagokulam prepares our children to

Understand, comprehend, and equip themselves with dharmic qualities
Practice the values in their day to day life and
Propagate the learnings for the welfare of the surroundings thereby benefiting the entire samaj
Variety of subjects can be learnt by our children through educational institutions and other classes. Various perspectives – be it economic, political, social can also be acquired through other channels. But what about Principles, Philosophies and the great culture that imparts life values? Have you ever thought of it?

Dharmic perspective which is indeed the essence of our human life has been well designed, appropriately drafted and is being delivered in a fun filled environment as part of the balagokulam activities to children across the country thereby preparing them to be an Ambassador of Hindu Dharma.

Let us not wait any more. It’s time to sow the seed of Dharma in every child, soil it with sangha shakha environment, water it consistently with value based stories, slokas, arts and crafts, fertilize it through programs like Guru Vandana, Surya Namaskar Yagna, Raksha Bandhan, Sewa Diwali, family camps and watch it grow. No doubt! You will be assured with the ripened teenager ready to face all opportunities and challenges in life while walking the path of Dharma.

Every year, as part of our Sri Krishna Jayanthi celebrations❤️❤️, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh's Balagokulam organizes the *Krishna dress up* programme for Lord Krishna's blessings. 🚩🚩🚩

The parents can dress their kids as Krishna or Radha, take a photograph📸 and send it to our WhatsApp group.We will then post it on our page.😊😊

(The Malelane children who are dressed up will then assemble at Surendran Uncle's House for a small photoshoot.
