“TORO” – Staged Reading
Join us for the story of Seipati and Tlhapadiatla as they navigate the fragile terrain between life and death, love and obligation. As illness tightens its grip, a single decision begins to ripple outward testing faith, family, and the limits of care. This session will include a facilitated storytelling workshop.

the Seasons of Abantu programme, a vibrant celebration of rhythm, storytelling, and African creativity. Headlining the evening is the phenomenal Afromezzo, known for his rich vocals, genre-blending sound, and electrifying stage presence. His performances are emotional, modern, and rooted in African musical identity.
Joining him are two rising stars lighting up South Africa’s music scene:
Noxiekay, Pretoria’s Contemporary R&B sensation, fusing smooth R&B with Afrobeat and African rhythms. Her music explores love, heartbreak, and self- discovery, delivering a soulful and relatable sound that continues to win hearts.
Nikilitha, a dynamic young soprano whose journey of resilience, faith, and artistic excellence shapes her unique sound. Trained in opera, gospel, R&B, pop, and jazz, with a rich background in choir, dance, piano, and vocal arts, she brings extraordinary versatility and emotional depth to the stage.

Abantu programme. Born and raised in the vibrant township of Atteridgeville, Naledi discovered magic at the age of seven and he’s been turning ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences ever since.
Specialising in close-up and card magic, Naledi brings a fresh, youthful, and electrifying energy that has already captured hearts across social media, especially TikTok. Now, for the very first time, he steps onto the theatre stage, inviting audiences of all ages and backgrounds to gather around, lean in, and witness the impossible unfold right before their eyes.
