Afromel SA is pleased to have spent our Heritage Month with the Soshanguve Older Persons Forum who came out in numbers to celebrate with us as we honoured the cultures , traditions and diversity that makes South Africa home

We believe in making time for our elderly community. Their story is our heritage.

It was a day filled with music, joy, wisdom and many shared memories from our elders. Our team joint and the day was exceptionally well spent.

We also noticed the lack of youth participation in such programmes. Through Afromel, aim to bring the youth back to learn, serve and celebrate with our elders.

We heard their challenges and the things they hope to see resolved in our community and we are listening and taking steps towards finding solutions to overcome these problems

Women should not have to live in fear, walk in groups, or change their routines to stay alive. The deaths of women in and around Kempton Park are a painful reminder that gender-based violence and femicide must end. so let us focus on truth, finding justice, and ensuring accountability.

We demand: Swift and thorough investigations.

Justice for every victim and support for every family.

Safer streets, transport routes, and public spaces.

An end to violence against women and girls.💜

Our message is clear: Women’s Lives Matter. Silence protects perpetrators, Speak up, Share information with SAPS, and Stand together against GBV.💜
