Remix Beatbox is a trailblazing beatboxer renowned for his exceptional skill and groundbreaking achievements.

A two-time African Beatbox Champion (2020 and 2024) and Vice World Champion (2021), Remix has cemented his place in the global beatbox scene. In 2024, he qualified for the Grand Beatbox Battle and secured a notable 4th place in the Haten Beatbox World Championship.

As the first African beatboxer to compete on an international stage, Remix has performed across South Africa, Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom, Bali, Japan, Poland, and more destinations. With over 100,000 followers on social media, he's also a prominent content creator, recently featuring in a commercial for the South African breakfast chain, Wimpy.

We are honored to present the final act for Garden Beats - 7 September drumming.

Black Heidi is a singer, songwriter and ukulele player born in Mafikeng. She is known for her powerful voice, dynamic performances and her repertoire of original songs that showcase her diverse artistry.

She has performed at some of the iconic festivals of South Africa, ESwatini and Mozambique with her live band which consists of Ivan van Heerden on bass guitar, Justin Snyman on drums , Aubrey Seapose on lead guitar and Jean-Claude Myburgh on rhythm guitar.

We are honored to present the third act for Garden Beats - 7 September drumming.

Black Labone. house Band, is an extension of the Black Labone( Black Thursday) organization dedicated to empowering artists and encouraging exceptional work through collaboration. It started as a weekly open mic event in 2017 at the Old Fire Station in the heart of Pretoria and is currently held at after South African State Theatre and has been there since 2023.

As part of Pretoria’s fastest growing weekly sessions, we provide an open platform for a diverse array of local artistry as well as work from artists from abroad. This is done through regular weekly open-mic , slam poetry performances and live music showcases.

Over the past 6 years, we have collaborated with events and movements like Sawubona Music Jam and
Smoking Dragon Festivals...

They have been able to support many other artists musically by accompanying them with original compositions and a fully-fledged 6-piece band that can travel to any part of the country.

This is the most unique event in Pretoria with 4 original bands, DJs, drumming circle in the arena, international percussionists, didge players, LED-lit forest and fire dancers.
