Business and Arts South Africa (BASA) invites experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultants or Organisations to support the Debut Fund Programme 2026.

Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant/Organisation:
A strategic role focused on strengthening the programme’s monitoring and evaluation framework, assessing impact, tracking performance, and providing insights to support young artists in rural and peri-urban communities across South Africa.

Requirements:
* Experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
* Relevant Monitoring and Evaluation experience
* Proven track record in programme impact assessment and reporting
* Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

* Proposal outlining approach, methodology, and timelines
* Relevant experience and portfolio

Following a successful pilot year, the African Producers Accelerator (APA) returns in 2026 - this time with an open call for mid-career African producers ready to strengthen their companies, sharpen their strategy and scale their impact.

Run by Big World Cinema in partnership with Bertha Foundation and National Film and Video Foundation of South Africa, and in association with Durban FilmMart Institute and Central Film School, the 12-week programme offers tailor-made advisory and practical support designed around each producer’s specific company and slate. The programme starts in May and concludes at the end of July 2026.

Applications open 12 March 2026 and close at 23:59 SAST on 5 April 2026
