Massive congratulations to our Springbok Men’s 7s team on winning their first-ever Hong Kong Sevens title!

The Springbok Sevens team, has achieved a historic victory by winning the Hong Kong Sevens title for the first time, defeating Argentina with a score of 35-7 in the final match. This win marks a significant milestone for South Africa, ending a long-standing curse of not winning the tournament. The victory was celebrated by the team and fans alike, with the Blitzboks breaking the 50-year drought that had plagued them in previous finals

South African Gallery of Legends Soccer Development Weekend – Phalaborwa

This past weekend at SANParks KNP, Phalaborwa, the South African Gallery of Legends once again inspired the next generation of football stars. Legendary players Teenage Dladla, Steve “Chippa” Lekoelea, Magents Motale, and former Bafana Bafana coach, Shakes Mashaba, shared their wisdom, skills, and passion with eager youngsters during an exciting development clinic.

After the training, the kids showcased their new skills in competitive matches filled with energy and determination. To make the day even more special, the South African Gallery of Legends donated 15 pairs of new soccer boots to youth from the deep rural areas of Limpopo - ensuring that talent is nurtured no matter where it comes from.

The day ended in true South African style with a bush braai under the stars inside the park, bringing everyone together to celebrate community, culture, and the beautiful game.

A heartfelt thank you to the Legends and the SANParks staff who made this unforgettable day possible. Together, we are building dreams, shaping futures, and keeping the spirit of football alive.

South African Gallery of Legends | Building Futures, One Child at a Time

The South African Gallery of Legends is overflowing with excitement and gratitude as we reflect on the incredible impact made in our rural communities through our growing partnership with South African National Parks

Over the past week, our team has travelled deep into rural areas where young boys and girls often dream big but lack the resources to take the first step. Through this partnership, we’ve been able to donate brand‑new soccer kits, host motivational sessions, and create moments of joy that these young champions will carry with them for years.

What we witnessed was powerful:
Children stepping onto the field with confidence
Smiles that lit up entire villages
Coaches and community leaders expressing renewed hope
A sense of belonging and pride growing in every child who pulled on a jersey.

This is more than sport.
This is legacy-building, nation-building, and heart-building.

Our mission has always been to honour the legends who shaped South Africa — but just as importantly, to inspire the legends still growing in our rural communities. With SANParks walking beside us, the reach of this mission is expanding faster than ever.
