Just sharing my thoughts.
When I qualified it cost me thousands of Rands. I practised, yes, But for Free!!
Our suppliers do not supply to studios that are not qualified. That means that all these other tattoo shops buy from China town, temu or where ever.
My tattoo machine is very very expensive. The ink is very expensive, training is very expensive.
Just think about it, If you get tattooed at a place that is not qualified, still learning, buying from where ever... You are creating a market that will eventually turn on you. You are not supporting good quality and qualified artists, so the quality of work will also just go down the drain.
I'm just saying, would you get operated by someone that is not a doctor or specialist? There is a reason we train and qualify and work for free in the beginning. It's keeping a good clear standard for customers.
My prices are really not expensive, do not fall for the "big specials". Ask a professional first. My prices start from R350. Most of the small stuff is around there. A special is not also so special, ha ha.
ANYWAY,
Thank you to all of you thats been part of my journey.
Can't wait for summer to show of those pieces.
