Our King Buyelekhaya was sentenced to direct imprisonment, we never defended him as we believe that no one is above the law.

The former president who's custodian of the same constitution he defied is not better nor more powerful than our King. He must serve his sentence like everyone else.

The reason I am stating all of this is because it'll break my heart to us as not only New Brighton community but the entire Eastern Cape vandalize the malls that took our provincial government over 10years to build.

Let's focus on fighting the pandemic we are all facing as the nation. As we had problems before this pandemic, the level of crime in New Brighton is out of this world. And we must remember that we only have Spar and Shoprite, if we destroy that we will be shooting ourselves on the foot.

Let's defend our malls as most of our bread winners salaries come from those shops.
