Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra
Youth Orchestral Experience 2026 | Day 3 & 4 🎻🎶

With the foundations firmly established over the first two days, rehearsals began to focus more closely on ensemble precision, musical interpretation, and bringing the repertoire together. Sectionals and full orchestra rehearsals challenged our young musicians to listen carefully, respond to one another, and to play with greater confidence.

We cannot wait to see you at the concert this Saturday (3 October), and to showcase the hard work achieved by the 2026 Eastern Cape Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. 🎻🎶

Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra
Youth Orchestral Experience 2026 | Days 1 & 2 🎻🎶

What an incredible start to the 2026 Youth Orchestral Experience!

Over the first two days, our young musicians have come together for the first time for their shared passion of orchestral music. From the very first sectional rehearsals to full orchestra sessions, the focus has been on building strong ensemble skills while bringing the repertoire to life.

Under the guidance of our dedicated tutors and conductor, Eddie Clayton, musicians have been learning the importance of performing as one cohesive orchestra. It has been wonderful to see the progress already taking shape. New friendships are forming, confidence is growing, and the sound of the orchestra is developing with every rehearsal.

We cannot wait to see you at the concert on Saturday, and to showcase the hard work achieved by the 2026 Eastern Cape Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. 🎻🎶
