ROOTED, a debate and current affairs platform produced by students from The Media Workshop School of Film & Television Production, is seeking a guest speaker based in or around to participate in an upcoming debate episode.

We are specifically looking for a guest who will argue the position that:

“Immigration is harming South Africa.”

The discussion will explore:

- Immigration and unemployment
- Border control and undocumented migration
- Crime and public perception
- Xenophobia and Afrophobia
- Pan-Africanism vs nationalism
- Government immigration policy
- Social and economic pressures

We are looking for individuals with strong viewpoints, lived experience, academic insight, activism, policy knowledge, or community leadership experience.
