Prepare yourselves for an evening of merriment, mischief and a little bit of Bardic Inspiration!

Taking centre stage as your Hostess with the Mostest and Emcee for the Medieval Banquet is none other than Tarryn Light — aka the Lady of the Court!

With her love of theatre, music, comedy and all things wonderfully theatrical, Tarryn will guide you through an evening of Shakespearean shenanigans, spectacular performances, audience participation and plenty of surprises.

Expect a generous helping of Bardic Inspiration, a dash of royal decree, perhaps a little chaos, and absolutely no guarantee that the audience shall remain merely audience. 😉

So gather thy companions, don thy finest medieval attire and prepare to feast, laugh and be entertained!

A MESSAGE FROM TARRYN LIGHT

In events — especially outdoor events — sometimes we face challenges that are completely beyond our control.

I can assure you that postponing the Medieval Fayre & Banquet was NOT an easy decision.

We have tried absolutely everything in our power to make sure the event could continue tomorrow. We have considered every vendor, entertainer, guest, supplier and member of our incredible team who is affected by this event, and we have worked tirelessly to find a way forward.

Unfortunately, nature has had other plans.

The grounds surrounding Norm Hudlin Trials are still flooded, and the property remains extremely wet. We have been unable to safely get our tents, vehicles, benches, equipment and all the other amazing things we had planned for you onto the grounds.

We even explored alternative venues, but unfortunately, neither the weather nor an alternative venue could accommodate the event at such short notice.

And so, with a very heavy heart, we have made the decision to POSTPONE — not cancel — the Medieval Fayre & Banquet.

The new date is Saturday, 19 September 2026.

And I want to make this very clear:

WE ARE NOT CANCELLING.

The Medieval Fayre & Banquet is still happening, and I can assure you that we are going to make the new date EPIC!

If you already have a ticket, your ticket remains valid for the new date. If you genuinely cannot attend on 19 September, refunds are available through Quicket, and our team will work tirelessly to make this transition as easy as possible for everyone involved.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to help.

Most importantly, please understand that YOU — our beautiful audience — have been at the heart of this decision.

We want you to have the BEST experience possible.
We want our vendors and performers to be able to give you their best.
We want our suppliers and crew to be able to work safely.
And above all, we want YOU to be safe, comfortable and able to enjoy the event properly.

This is incredibly disappointing for all of us. I know many of you have been looking forward to tomorrow, some of you have costumes ready, plans made and tickets purchased.

We see you. We hear you. And we are incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding.

Thank you for continuing to support us, even when things don't quite go according to plan.

We shall see you on 19 September…

Our dear lords, ladies, knights, jesters and merry folk…

Due to the **flooding at Norm Hudlin Trials**, the grounds are currently unsafe to enter and exit. For the safety of our guests, performers, vendors and crew, we have made the difficult decision to **POSTPONE the Medieval Fayre & Banquet: Ode to the Bard.**

⚔️ **FEAR NOT! THE KINGDOM SHALL RISE AGAIN!** ⚔️

Our new date is:

👑 **SATURDAY, 19 SEPTEMBER 2026** 👑

All the magic will still await thee — the Fayre, the festivities, Shakespearean entertainment, games, stalls, feasting and our spectacular evening banquet!

🎭 **Medieval Fayre:** 10:00 – 16:00
🍷 **Medieval Banquet:** 19:00 – late

If thou art unable to attend on **19 September**, you may request a **refund through Quicket**.
