Yesterday marks Day 2 and the last day of Business Show Africa organised by NSBC Africa at Sandton Convention Centre, and what an amazing two days it has been!

As Mantja Ka Gogo Organisation from QwaQwa, we are honoured to have been part of Africa's biggest business show.

HOW THINGS WENT:

The show was fully packed - entrepreneurs from all over Africa came in numbers as you can see in the picture. The main stage was on fire with powerful speakers, business masterclasses, and networking.

We learned a lot about:
1. How to grow a small organisation into a big brand
2. How to get funding and partnerships
3. How to market and brand our work professionally

The energy in the hall today on the final day was unmatched. Everyone came with a green bag full of solutions and left with business connections.

We want to thank NSBC Africa for creating this platform for small businesses like us from rural areas like QwaQwa to sit in the same room with big business leaders.

Mantja Ka Gogo is going back to QwaQwa inspired, empowered and ready to implement what we learned for Youth development and our community work.

We call upon other youth organisations in Free State to attend next year - it is worth it.

MANTJA KA GOGO ORGANISATION was honored to be part of this historic Indaba — learning, sharing, and representing the voice of the youth of QwaQwa.

THE LESSONS WE GAINED:

We did not just attend. We represented.

We learned that true leadership is not about power, it’s about people. When we put people first, we build respect. When we build respect, we build a winning community.

From every topic discussed — leadership, education, health, entrepreneurship, and discipline — we came back with one clear message: The youth of QwaQwa are ready to lead with respect, not ego.

Thank you to Youth In Action, TMDM, Department of Education and Lovelife for investing in the future of QwaQwa.

Yesterday, Mantja Ka Gogo Organisation was honoured to attend the beautiful cultural celebration at eNgomeni in KZN Umlazi(Durban)

What a powerful day! Seeing our sisters dancing with pride in Isigege, with strength, unity and culture made our hearts full. This is who we are. Setso sa rona ke boikgantsho ba rona!

We went to QwaQwa to KZN to learn, to connect and to show that culture has no borders. From Basotho with Lesolanka to AmaZulu with Isigege - we are ONE. We are Africans.

To our Gogo's at home, we brought back fire, knowledge and inspiration for our own Lesolanka Day on 24 September at Clubview.
