Another month, another last thursday!

For next week’s Last Thursday, we want you to – as the theme states – wear your art... And it could be anything and everything, really…

Whether the garment is your first attempt at knitting. Or, it’s your most-worn, stare-worthy piece. Perhaps it’s something, not neccesarily ‘wearable’, but it’s what you choose to wear because that’s how you choose to express yourself – do that.

The point is to celebrate the art of ‘making’ and the things we find beautiful, the things we find fantastically odd, the things we see as art. Here’s your chance to show up, and show them off.

You’ve probably seen them around.
You might know them as Heidels and Saar.
Maybe one has made you giggle, and the other has offered you a glass of wine and a seat.
Perhaps one chat led to another, and your painting is in a gallery, or in a tasteful home.

It is these two women who have created a ‘RELEVANT’ space. A space for people, made by two people who want to care, to learn, to uplift, to grow, to expand.

Nothing warms our hearts more than this... A piece that was noticed by someone who entered our space. Then there’s that connection to it. Each is so very different – the attachment, the ‘envisioning of this piece in my space’, the memory it triggers, the feeling that starts to bubble from the heart, or the soul. And sometimes, it’s just something that makes you so incredibly happy, you want to look at it every day, for the rest of your life.

From hands to home.

There’s always a sort of intimate journey that comes with the arrival and departure of a new piece. First, the initial meeting with the maker, then the welcoming of his works to the gallery, and finally – a sort of beautiful mourning follows – the bittersweet send-off to its new, forever home.
