I’m posting this collection of clips mostly for the perfect little soundtrack it happened to capture.

Also, this is a brand new artwork, the fourth new artwork for the year. The other three are much smaller but I’m proud that I am managing to create anything at all. I think I made four artworks in total last year (much bigger but still). It’s not a competition. Just happy to be making.

This piece is off to .gallery where I’ll be showing for the first time. Pop in from next week Wednesday to see this one and a lot more.

As promised… the secret at the verso of this artwork..

𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯-𝘵𝘰-𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 forms part of a broader body of work that explores the theme of home. This series (𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦) is a deeply personal meditation on intimacy, domesticity, and belonging. It represents an act of turning inward, grounding itself in the tactile and emotional realities of daily life. 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯-𝘵𝘰-𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 reflects on what it means to create and inhabit a home, particularly through the lens of motherhood.

The artwork 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯-𝘵𝘰-𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 combines woven yarn with stained baby clothes, off-cut material from my bridal gown, and other household fabrics; each material carrying its own quiet history. These are objects that have lived alongside me, collecting traces of time, memory, and use. Through weaving and assemblage, they are transformed from the practical into the poetic, holding both the tenderness and fatigue of care.

No artworks were damaged in the making of this video, and we didn’t disrupt anyone’s viewing experience… BUT arriving one hour early at an exhibition opening - with a toddler - calls for entertainment.
