We would like to extend a massive THANK YOU to all those who joined us at our inaugural Winelands Summer Beer Festival! 🍻☀️💦🕺👙🍾

To our incredible events team and festival organisers, to the participating breweries who kept us cool with some fantastic craft beers, to our great food vendors, to our artists who kept us moving and grooving all day long, to the weather for playing along and giving us a beautiful summer’s day, and of course, to all of you who joined in on the fun - thank you! 💫

We are already looking forward to planning the next bigger & better beer festival in the not-so-far-away future 🥳

Emerging from the influence of beautiful paradoxes in nature and urban life, positive energy as well as the transcendence of the human spirit comes Raiven Hunter, a Live Performance DJ/Producer with a background as an international touring saxophonist and recording engineer for some of South Africa’s most acclaimed dance pop groups, GOODLUCK & The Kiffness.

Branching out as a solo artist in 2022, Raiven blends track selection & original compositions with spontaneous jazz solos, vocal sampling and live mashups under the guise of House music in order to enhance the energy of a collective dancefloor to further heights, together.

And last but certainly not least, we welcome Jews For Techno to The Stage! 🔥

Jews For Techno arrived on the scene with as much of a welcome as the Omicron Wave. People closed their doors, bulk ordered their goodies and told their children that mommy and daddy love each other but will be sleeping in different rooms for a while. They play a mix of bellies blues, 198bpm deathno, and Taylor Swift's re-recordings of Beatles songs. 1/2 of the J4T crew prefer Drifter while the other drinks only holy water.

They will certainly get you moving & grooving - and trust us, you don’t want to miss out! 😉

We’re excited to welcome Shoemaker to The Stage at Winelands Summer Beer Festival on Feb 26th! 🕺

Shoemaker grew up in a family on the east coast of the US where music was always the cornerstone of the home. When he left the States over a decade ago, his love for music was only magnified by his travels around the world. Shortly after, an obsession for disco music sent him down a rabbit hole of collecting and playing records when he made Cape Town his new home in 2011.

With multiple residencies in the city under his belt over the years, his drive for finding new music and sounds inspires him to constantly dig deeper. Today, Shoemaker’s sets are influenced by disco, Latin, African, Zouk, house, and music from all corners of the world - never one to stick to one sound or genre. He aims to spoil listeners with music they are likely unfamiliar with but find irresistible not to move to!

Shoemaker has played at Wolfkop, MCQP, Sexy Groovy Love, Kinky Summer, Rocking the Daisies, and Retreat Yourself among other festivals and is a regular DJ in the city bowl.
