Dear Fans of Christmas Night with the Stars,

We hope this message finds you well. We, Sydwell Beziek and Felicity Nxele, write to inform you of a significant decision regarding our beloved show. After much deliberation, we have decided to take a year off from Christmas Night with the Stars.

Our journey has been marked by countless magical moments, and we are immensely grateful for the support we have received. However, despite our appearances on platforms such as Expresso and the backing of the Drakenstein Municipality, we have experienced a decline in interest and, regrettably, have not seen a salary for the past two years despite fulfilling our financial commitments.

The challenges of hosting a show in South Africa have weighed heavily on us, and it is with a sense of disappointment that we take this necessary break. We may consider returning in 2026, but for now, we must prioritize our well-being.

We will miss the joy and excitement of our time together and are grateful for the cherished memories we have created. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful, prosperous New Year.
