🌱🎨 SECOND-LAST IMBEWU ACTIVATION! 🎨🌱

And just like that… we’re getting closer to the end! 🥹❤️

Our second-last Year-End Imbewu Arts for Early Learning Activation took us to Isibukho Sezwe Day Care, where we spent the day doing what Imbewu does best:

🤸 PLAY.
📚 LEARN.
🎨 CREATE.

Through games, movement, music, storytelling and creative play, the children had the opportunity to learn while having FUN! 🥳💃🎭🎶

Our Imbewu mission is simple: use the arts to make early learning joyful, creative and meaningful. 🌱✨

💬 “Art helps young children learn by allowing them to explore, express, imagine and understand the world through play.”

A huge thank you to the amazing children and staff at Isibukho Sezwe Day Care for welcoming the Imbewu team. ❤️🙌

One more activation to go… and what a beautiful journey it has been! 🌱🔥

Play. Learn. Create.

Good Morning, Facebook Family! ❤️

Week 2 of our Year-End Imbewu Arts for Early Learning Activations continues, and here’s a little recap of yesterday! 🤸🥳💃🎉

The whole team was at Thabang Day Care for a beautiful day of PLAY, LEARNING, CREATIVITY and FUN! 🎨🎭🎶

We had so much fun together, and it was amazing to see the children engaging, playing and expressing themselves through the arts. ❤️🙌

A BIG thank you to the wonderful children and staff at Thabang Day Care for welcoming us and allowing our programme to be part of your space. 🌱💕

We look forward to growing together and to an even more prosperous 2027! 🌟

AND WHAT A WEEK! 🤸🏽‍♀️💃🏽🙌🏽🔥🥳❤️

Struggles Theatre Production has had an incredible week as we hosted our Imbewu Arts for Early Learning – All-In-One Year-End Activations at our ECD host sites! 🌱🎨🎭

This week, our amazing Arts Facilitators came together as one team, showcasing the wonderful work they have been doing throughout the year through SEF4 and NYS. What makes this programme special is seeing our facilitators use their creativity, energy and skills to create meaningful spaces where young children can play, explore, express themselves and discover their inner artist. 🎨🧒🏽👧🏽✨

📍 Day 1 – Lemon to Lemonade 🍋
📍 Day 2 – Khanyisa Day Care 🌈
📍 Day 3 – Little Angels 👼🏽❤️

From games, music, movement and creative activities to puppetry and laughter, our children have been given an opportunity to learn through PLAY and the ARTS! 🎶🎭🎨🤸🏽‍♀️

We are so proud of the impact our Arts Facilitators are making — helping children build confidence, creativity, imagination, communication and a love for the arts from an early age. 🌱❤️

A HUGE THANK YOU to our incredible Struggles Theatre Production team and Arts Facilitators for your dedication and passion. 🙌🏽🔥

Thank you to all our ECD host sites for opening your doors and creating these beautiful spaces with us. 🏫❤️

And a special THANK YOU to Aspire to Inspire for the amazing puppets that made the experience even more memorable and magical for our children! 🐸🎭🧸✨

We are grateful for EVERYONE who has been part of this journey. 🙏🏽❤️

3 more ECDs to go next week! 🤸🏽‍♀️🔥🥳

Let's continue creating, playing, inspiring and growing — and close the year in STYLE! 🌱🎨🎭💃🏽🙌🏽🔥

From Orange Farm to the world — our children are artists! ❤️🌍

🎬🌍 FROM ORANGE FARM TO THE WORLD! 🌍🎬

This past weekend, Struggles Theatre Production had the pleasure of taking two groups from Orange Farm to experience the European Film Festival, hosted by the Joburg Film Festival, at Cinema Nouveau, Rosebank Mall. 🎥✨

What an incredible experience! ❤️ From Orange Farm to Rosebank, and from our community to the world of international film — our participants had the opportunity to experience, learn, connect and celebrate the arts in a whole new way. 🌍🎭🎬

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and made the experience special. 🙏❤️

A very special thank you to the organisations who supported this opportunity:

💐 SAAYC Orange Farm Centre
💐
💐

Your support helps us continue creating opportunities for children, young people and our community to experience the arts beyond their everyday surroundings. 🙌❤️

From Orange Farm to the World! 🌍✨
Theatre. Film. Arts. Opportunity.
