During covid 19 .
Ntsele Foundation, together with Mphethi Mahlatsi sec school , Leshata sec school, and Masibambane College , recorded collections of poems from a book called Home soil in my blood by the late Keorapetse Kgositsile.

It's an honor to have been part of that project and working with young people who love reading, we would also like to thank Xarrabooks for allowing us to use these books , and our then partner Provincial library services for believing in our project.

Provincial library services.
Thank you so much for pulling through without you. This wasn't going to be possible.

South Africa faces a severe literacy crisis, with data showing that roughly 70% to 80% of primary school children cannot read or understand text at their grade level. By the end of Grade 3, a significant percentage of learners cannot read for meaning, and many remain unable to read simple words.... and am sure Provincial library services saw the need that these programs must be consistent and also us parents must play a role in assisting teachers by helping our kids.

And it is our responsibility as foundations to do book clubs and monthly spelling bee programs at our local Drieziek library or any other libraries.

Awekho amaningi, thank you. Provincial library services 🙌🏾.

Mme Elizabeth, thank you wena and your intern 😀
