Understanding vaginal discharge (simple guide)
1. Clear and stretchy (like egg white)
• This is normal and healthy
• Happens during ovulation (fertile time)
• It helps s***m move easily, so pregnancy is more likely then
2. Clear and watery
• Also normal
• Can happen anytime, especially after exercise or when aroused
3. White or milky
• Normal if there’s no bad smell or itching
• Common at the start or end of your cycle
4. Thick, white, and clumpy
• May be a yeast infection
• Other signs: itching, redness, irritation
5. Yellow or green
• Could mean an infection
• Other signs: bad smell, pain, itching

• Likely a bacterial infection
