Everyone had a lot of fun at Mattie Joubert's acrylic paint workshop on the 13th of June 2026 at Peaceful Willows. Thank you to everyone that joined us. We had so much fun and learned a lot from Mattie. We were only allowed to use the 3 x warm primary acrylic paint colours. Thank you to Bertha Jane Annandale Blokker for hosting this wonderful day. We are all looking forward to the next one.

Mattie taught us colour theory and how to mix secondary colours from the 3 warm primary colours. This was very interesting to learn to paint an abstract painting, only using 3 x primary colours.

We first went to get some inspiration from the beautiful surroundings at Peaceful Willows. We took some pictures and the creative juices started flowing.
