2026 Royal Academy of Dance examination season! 💜🩰

I am beyond proud of each and every dancer who stepped into their exams with courage, grace, dedication, and beautiful smiles.

Watching these young ballerinas grow in confidence, technique, and passion is such a privilege.
Months of hard work, discipline, and perseverance were poured into every exercise and performance. No matter the result, every dancer should be proud of themselves for their commitment and bravery.

Thank you to our wonderful dance families for your support and encouragement along the way. And to my dancers — keep shining, keep believing in yourselves, and keep dancing with all your hearts. ✨

Wanneer ’n danser vir die eerste keer die verhoog betree, voel dit asof die wêreld vir ’n oomblik stil raak.

Die ligte is helder, die musiek begin speel, en daar staan hulle — met kloppende harte en hande wat dalk effens bewe.

Maar wat die gehoor sien, is nie die senuwees nie. Hulle sien guts.

Hulle sien ’n jong danser wat kies om dapper te wees. Wat kies om te glimlag al voel alles nuut en groot. Wat elke tree met moed gee, al is dit hul heel eerste keer.

Daardie eerste stap op die verhoog is meer as net ’n danspassie — dit is ’n oorwinning. Dit is die oomblik waar selfvertroue begin groei.

Elke groot danser het ook eendag vir die eerste keer daar gestaan. En dit is juis daardie eerste tree, vol guts en geloof, wat die begin van iets besonders maak. ✨

There’s something truly magical about giving a little girl her very first tutu.
The moment she holds it in her hands…
The sparkle in her eyes…
The tiny gasp of excitement… ✨
It’s not just layers of tulle and ribbon.
It’s confidence.
It’s imagination.
It’s the beginning of big dreams wrapped in soft pink fabric.
When she puts it on, she doesn’t just wear a tutu —
she becomes a ballerina, a princess, a star on stage. 🌟
On this Tutu Tuesday, we celebrate the joy, the giggles, and the beautiful confidence that blooms when a little dancer feels special.
Because sometimes, the smallest tutu creates the biggest smile.
